Hello, I am Debbie Sosnoski, a retired Fire Fighter and EMT in Anne Arundel County, working at one of the busiest engine companies in the county. During my career, I was assigned to Health and Safety to work on a grant for an ability test for entry level fire fighters, wellness, and physicals for all fire fighters in the department. I worked on a coalition to ensure fair health care benefits for all employees. I was also involved in Union Local 1563 and became the first Vice President.
I am happily married to my best friend Mike. We met in Fire School and the rest became our journey together. Mike and I moved to Millville by the Sea permanently 4 years ago and since then we both have been actively involved in the community and served on several committees in MBTS. In addition, we are actively involved with Food Bank of Delaware, the Beach and Bay Cottage Tour, Justin’s Beach House and MBTS’s own Holiday Home Tour.
I am excited to take on this new chapter with the Millville Town Council. I feel honored to be collaborating with citizens and Council for the betterment of Millville. I am looking to bring a positive approach to continue making Millville “A Beautiful Way of Life.”
During my down time I love to garden, entertain, and enjoy going to the performing arts. We thoroughly enjoyed moving to Millville, making new friends, starting a new chapter, and enjoying life with our two dogs Winchester and Brighton.
